Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing treatment in which the outermost layers of skin are removed using a chemical solution. The skin that is growing back has a smoother texture and is typically used on the face, arms, and back to improve wrinkles, discolored skin, and scars. Additionally, you might need to have the procedure repeated multiple times to get the desired results. It can be done at various depths, ranging from light to deep.

Our chemical peel is combined with a basic facial (ChemaGlow Facial). This procedure can also be combined with Diamond Glow Facial (ChemaBrasion) or Dermaplaning (DermaGlow) for a total rejuvenation! It has mild to moderate downtime and requires the daily application of sunscreen .

Proderm Peels

The active ingredients in Proderm Peels, which include peptides and/or plant extracts, are carefully chosen acids in a formula. A new class of acids, known as PHAs (polyhydroxy acids), which include gluconolactone and lactobionic acid, is included in the chosen acids. PHAs are less irritable, more comfortable to apply, and yield superior outcomes than AHAs alone.

There are no harsh neutralizers or preservatives in Proderm Peels, such as tromethamine, ammonium hydroxide (ammonia), or other harmful buffering components. Balances pH and has keratolytic and moisturizing properties – sodium lactate, also known as lactic acid.

Proderm Peels are formulated with a particular combination of optimized excipients, guaranteeing the best efficacy and tolerability of the peel.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Please keep in mind that chemical peels successfully treat skin issues by using acids to cause controlled damage. This method helps exfoliate the damaged surface cell and stimulate collagen and elastin formation, resulting in a new reinforced layer of healthier-looking skin.

The process for executing a chemical peel is the same for all products. You can get the desired outcomes in a safe and predictable manner by carefully following the instructions and adhering to the pre and post peel routine.

ChemaBrasions and DermaGlow Peels are best done in a series of 3 to 4 sessions, 4 weeks apart.
